The connection is no longer in the critical path.
WasteSync runs in the browser on the kiosk, laptop or tablet you already have. Records are written to an encrypted vault on the device first, then filed to the regulator whenever a stable connection exists.
Pull the plug. Watch what happens.
Drop the connection and keep capturing loads. Tickets wait in the local vault. Restore it, and they file to DEFRA in the order they were captured.

01Capture on any deviceA browser app on a tablet, kiosk or phone. The same screen online and off, so operators never need to know which state they’re in.
02Encrypted local vaultEach ticket, weight and signature is encrypted and written to the device before anything else happens. Losing signal can’t lose a record.
03Ordered sync to the backendWhen a stable connection is detected, the queue drains in capture order to our UK-hosted backend. Flaky connections retry without duplicates.
04Automatic filing to DEFRA & SEPAThe backend submits each record to the government API in the background, and holds it safely if the regulator’s service is unavailable.
05Tamper-proof by constructionEvery ticket is cryptographically chained to the one before it, so any later alteration is detected. An audit trail you don’t have to maintain.
06QR-first data entryOne scan of the carrier or customer QR code fills the account, vehicle, waste code and producer. The weight comes from the weighbridge. Operators only type what your site chooses to keep manual.
07Printable fallback notesAny device can print a complete Waste Transfer Note carrying the same ID as the digital record, for drivers, inspections or total outages.
08Back office and exportsA separate admin application for monitoring, account administration and site analytics, with CSV and PDF exports formatted to your workflow.
